A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to come across the Disrupt by Design Podcast, and it was particularly in "Design, Creativity, and Experience" that I plugged in my headphones and dove into the experience of Manolo Agency in a changing world.
Manuel Muñoz, founding partner of Manolo Agency, tells us that companies are constantly transforming, and therefore he makes a call to action for us to continually reinvent ourselves and to be able to support, accompany, and solve the new needs of our clients.
One of the things I take most from this podcast is the importance of anticipating and knowing when it is necessary to change the focus of what we do or offer, and above all, knowing when we are adding value and when we stop doing so. Having a clear understanding of what we want and where we are going is extremely important so that, as a team, we walk in the same direction and generate a unique experience.
Understanding their problems, pains, and motivations is essential to build and design a value proposition aligned with their ideals and, of course, with the business.
As Manuel well said throughout the podcast, to put design at the center, we as designers must have a more active role and encourage change within organizations to occur and not wait for companies to manage those changes. We have to be advocates for pushing for transformation and disruption.
